BELTANE BOOKS is being forced to move out to accommodate a new beer and wine store. We are looking for somewhere to move to but in the meantime we have to vacate our shop space at the Thatch by mid-January. Until we work out new retail space the shop will be in hiatus.
Consequently, on Tuesday the shop will be open for a PRE-CHRISTMAS CLEARANCE SALE to try to lighten what we have to pack up. We will be discounting all books priced under $40.00 at 50% Off, and all books priced at $40 or more will be discounted by 30%. Needles to say, Sale Prices apply to in-store Sales Only.
We have by our estimate around 1500 books in the shop (a small portion of the 30,000 or so volumes which we actually have in stock, mostly under our alter-ego Thompson Rare Books).
As we have to move out quickly in January it would be great to have to put fewer items in storage while we work towards relocation.
It's a bit of a surprise to us but we will take this in stride and work towards an even better incarnation - ideas or help appreciated!
So come on down and visit us in Canada's smallest used bookshop - before it's gone!

URSULA ILIEN ALATARIEL JOY
Our Beautiful Daughter Ursula Passed Away on September 6th, 2018. She was 7-1/2 years old and has been fighting a rare form of brain cancer since she was a baby. This picture of her was taken 4 years ago but shows her spirit beautifully.
We are beyond heartbroken and we miss her every moment of every day.
In Memorium: Ursula Ilien Joy
The Family Network for Deaf Children and Ursula’s family wishes to set up a Family Deaf Camp fund in Ursula’s name. The aim is to financially support families in need to enable them to attend future Family Deaf Camps on Hornby Island - because Ursula was partially deaf and SHE LOVED her time at Family Deaf Camp!
To donate: www.fndc.ca/donation/
(type Ursula’s name in the “in memory” of section).
FNDC will let the family know of your donation.
